What’s been happening:

John has held a number of academic and business positions since finishing his degrees at Penn State. He has been a faculty member in the mathematics departments of Wilkes University, Iowa Wesleyan University, and Texas A&M University. He has also held positions at Pepperdine University, the University of Alaska-Fairbanks, Arizona State University and Vanderbilt University. In the private sector, John was the Vice President for Data Warehousing for USA Group and the President of ARIA (a higher education consulting firm). He returned to higher as the Associate Vice President for Information Technology at the University of Memphis from which he retired in 2006. Since then, he has spent much more time with his son, Joey (twelve years old), and has stayed in much closer contact with Jennifer Jo lane, his daughter who lives in McMinnville, Oregon. Most of John's personal time is spent consulting in project management and information technology. He remains an adjunct professor at the University of Memphis, where he teaches project management. When not so occupied, he loves to ballroom dance and dances at least three times a week in Memphis; more when he is enjoying a cruise or other travel.
